Many parishes and organization host fish fries during Lent. For your convenience, we have compiled all the fish fries we received information about and have listed them here. If your parish or organization is not listed, please call them to see if they have a fish fry scheduled. — Enjoy!

St. Gabriel Archangel Parish, 4737 N. Cleveland, Kansas City, 4:30 -7 p.m., Feb. 27, March
6,13, 20, 27, and April 3. Stations of the Cross, 5:30 p.m. Fresh catfish or nuggets or the Catch of
the Day, with all the trimmings, dessert and beverage. Catch of the Day different each Friday.
Carryout available. Donations: $9/adults, Children under 12 catfish nuggets/$5. Benefits St.
Gabriel's youth programs.
St. Sabina Parish, 700 Trevis, Belton, 5 -7:30 p.m., Feb. 27, March 6, 20 and 27. Fried or
baked fish, garlic new potatoes, corn on the cob, hush puppies, meatless spaghetti, salad or
coleslaw, fruit and homemade desserts. Cost: $7/seniors, $8/adults, $5/children and families of five
or more/$28. Hosted by K of C Pope John XXIII, Council 5586.
Holy Spirit Parish, 1800 SW 150 Highway, Lee's Summit, 5:30- 7 p.m., Feb. 27, March 6 and 13.
Catfish, boiled shrimp, fries, hush puppies, cheese pizza, macaroni and cheese, salad, red beans and
rice, ice tea and punch. $8.50/adults, $5/children under 6, family discounts. Desserts available for
$1 to support the Ladies Auxiliary. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus # 8334.
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 2700 E. Mechanic, Harrisonville. 5 - 7:30 p.m., Feb. 27, March 6,
13, 20, 27, and April 3. Fried and baked catfish, coleslaw, tater tots, corn fritters, macaroni and
cheese. Desserts included. Cost $8/adults, $4/children under 12. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
St. Jude Parish, 2001 S. Broadway, Oak Grove. 5-7 p.m., Feb. 27, March 13 & 27. For

St. Charles Borromeo Parish, 800 N.E. Shady Lane (use west basement entrance), Oakview. 4:30-
8:30 p.m., Feb. 27. Baked or fried fish. $7/adults, $3.50/children under 12. Proceeds defray ground
maintenance costs. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus/ St. Charles Borromeo Parish.
St. John Francis Regis Parish, 8941 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City. 5-8 p.m., Fridays, Feb.
27-April 3. Boiled or breaded shrimp, baked salmon or crusted tilapia, cheese pizza, garden salad,
coleslaw or pasta salad, baked potato, roll, coffee tea or water, soda and deserts sold separately.
Cost: $8/ boiled or breaded shrimp dinner, baked salmon or crusted tilapia dinner, $5/cheese pizza (2
slices + sides), $10/Combo (includes choice of fish with 6 pieces boiled or breaded shrimp. Hosted by

Coronation of Our Lady Parish, 13000 Bennington, Grandview, 4:30-7 p.m., Feb. 27. Cost:
$7/adults, $4/kids 5-10. All-you-can-eat catfish. Hosted by the Parish Council.
St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 4313 S. 7 Highway, Blue Springs. 4:30 -7:30 p.m., April 3. Menu
includes fried or baked fish, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, dessert and drink. Cost: $8/adults,
$4/children. Kids 5and under free. Carry-outs available.
Church of the Annunciation Parish, Community Center, 705 N. Jefferson, Kearney, 5-7:30 p.m.,
Feb. 27 through April 3. Menu includes 8-piece shrimp dinner/$8.50, Combo dinner fish and
shrimp/$8.50, fish dinner, baked or fried/$7/adults, $6/ seniors and children 12 and under. All
dinners include macaroni and cheese or fried potatoes, cornbread, beans, coleslaw and drink. Other

Our Lady of the Presentation Parish, every Friday during Lent, 5-7:30 p.m., 130 NW Murray
Road, Lee's Summit. All-you-care-to-eat buffet: baked cod, fried tilapia, fried butterfly shrimp,
baked potato bar, salad bar, and more. Soda and dessert for donation. $9/adults, $4/children 4-10.
Under 4 and over 90 free. Proceeds go to youth service mission trip. For more information, contact

St. Elizabeth Parish, 5-8 p.m., Feb. 27 and April 3, Seton Hall (lower level of the church)
75th and Main, Kansas City. All-you-can-eat fish, hush puppies, coleslaw, French fries, corn on the
cob, water, tea, coffee, lemonade and desserts. Adult beverages available. Tickets at the door:

St. Ann Parish, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Feb. 27 - April 3, 10113 E. Lexington, Independence. Menu
includes boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, whole channel catfish, catfish filets, French fries, boiled
potatoes, coleslaw, green beans, hush puppies and cornbread. Drinks included. Cost: $7.50 to $9.75. A
fish sandwich and fries may be purchased for $4. Ala Carte items purchased separately. Desserts sold

St. Peter Parish, 5-7 p.m., Ash Wednesday and Fridays during Lent, the Garden Room of the
school, 6400 Charlotte, Kansas City. Baked or fried fish, grilled cheese, fried potatoes and
coleslaw, rolls, dessert. March 13 is catfish night with adult beverages available, Cost $6/adults,

Nativity of Mary Parish, 4 p.m., until all are served, Fridays, Feb. 27 through March 27, in
school cafeteria, 10010 E. 40 Highway, Independence. Includes whole or filleted catfish, frog legs,
