to begin serving on July 1, 2007
Christian Brothers College High School, a college
preparatory school for young men in St. Louis, Missouri,
is seeking applications for the position of President,
beginning July 1, 2007. Located in the western suburbs of
St. Louis, CBC educates its 1,100 students in a four-year
old, $50 million, state-of-the-art, technology-rich
facility utilizing Smart Boards in every classroom and
laptops for every student. Proud to be a 156-year old
Catholic school in the Lasallian tradition, CBC employs a
holistic approach to education, providing outstanding
spiritual, academic and co-curricular opportunities to a
diverse student population.
CBC is owned and operated by the De La Salle Christian
Brothers, utilizing a limited jurisdictional Board of
Directors. The President is the Chief Executive Officer,
overseeing the mission, development, and business affairs
of the school, reporting directly to the Board of
Directors.
Applicants must be practicing Catholic, familiar with the
Lasallian tradition of education, possess a masters degree
in a related field, have a minimum of five years
administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic school
or non-profit organization, have experience working with
non-profit boards, and have a record of success in fund
raising.

Social Concerns and Ministry of Care, Church of the

support our expanding family life, social concerns and
other ministries of care. The successful candidate will
have experience in working with volunteers, coordinating

A NEW CHARITY: BATTERED SOULS ADVOCATES
sponsors artists to promote healing for victims of
violence. Its first event is called a "Requiem for
Battered Souls." The symphonic poem gives voice to those
who are victims of violence. The event is at St. Paul's
Episcopal Church at 40th and Main, K.C. Mo. Dates are
November 10th at 7:30pm and November 12th at 2:30pm.
Victims can be memorialized by memorial gift. Tickets are
